Don Sheppard Construction, a home remodeling and repair company, was established in July 1998 in my hometown of Fairfield, Ca Since then we have established a wonderful client base and receive many referrals as a result. I am always happy to take on new home improvement projects and meet new future satisfied customers as well.

I always enjoyed working with my hands and tools. Some of my earliest childhood memories involved borrowing dad’s tools to disassemble my bike for repainting and/or maintenance lubrication. I earned a major in industrial arts during school with heavy emphasis on drafting, I know that this helped fine tune my ability to focus on details. My experience in residential construction began as a carpenter apprentice, working in new construction tract home building. While I learned a lot during that time gaining journeyman level, I also realized I wanted to diversify my knowledge to include more of the specialty trades as well. I pursued that knowledge, through various other job related studies and practice, to become more proficient over time of the other trades involved in building a home such as plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring etc. Now I enjoy being hands on every aspect of remodeling and still do apply myself towards learning as new systems and products are developed.

I try to treat every customer exactly how I would hope to be treated, if not better. Some of the important points to follow as home improvement contractors are being on time every day, keeping the work site clean and uncluttered, completing home remodeling projects on time, using exact materials specified or better, and proper attention to details on the home repair project. I’ve been working in the residential construction industry for about 30 years now and really do still enjoy seeing the fruits of my labor whether it’s just fixing something that was broke, or seeing a new remodel come to life.

You will deal directly with me from the first contact to your final inspection of the completed home remodel project. I am a “hands on” working owner, so you can be sure of receiving the best craftsmanship this company has to offer. Your project will have my full attention from beginning to completion as well as standing behind our warranted workmanship.
